Dragon boat race Eglisau canceled due to COVID-19

With a heavy heart we have to cancel the Eglisau dragon boat race for the first time since it was founded 29 years ago. We were hoping, trembling, struggling to carry it out with a postponement date, but we have to realize that we cannot guarantee the safety of participants and visitors. Thank you for trembling and hoping to this day.

The Federal Council has decided that major events with over 1,000 participants will be prohibited until the end of August 2020.

For the Eglisau dragon boat race, this means that we will not be running a race in 2020. But so much in advance: We will be back in June 2021 with even more verve and joy!
